March 21, 2013 (Golden, CO) – ServiceMagic Europe announced today that it has appointed Simon Greenman as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Greenman will be responsible for the company’s operations including the U.K, France and Germany. ServiceMagic Europe is the European subsidiary of HomeAdvisor, a U.S.-based company that connects homeowners with pre-screened and customer-rated service professionals and provides a suite of comprehensive tools, products and resources to help with home improvement, maintenance and repair needs. HomeAdvisor’s international operations currently include Canada, France, the UK and Germany.

Mr. Greenman was previously a Venture Partner at DN Capital where he focused on funding companies in the UK, Germany, Scandinavian and US markets. Prior to DN Capital, Mr. Greenman was MD of Online for European Directories, a lead generation and directory company with operations across eight European countries. Additionally, he co-founded MapQuest.com, the first and one of the most widely licensed and used local search services on the Internet.
