Kayleen McCabe

Kayleen McCabe is HomeAdvisor’s project advisor. She is a licensed contractor who specializes in providing do-it-yourself tips and advice for home repair and home improvement projects.

McCabe, a Denver native, won the DIY Network’s 2009 Stud Finder competition and currently hosts the television show Rescue Renovation. During each episode McCabe helps homeowners fix renovations that have gone wrong. She has been featured in Runner’s World magazine, HerLife magazine, and on the podcast My FixitUpLife.

In additional to her home improvement experience, McCabe also makes custom furniture, and enjoys mentoring and educating homeowners. She hosts various home improvement workshops, seminars, and classes.


Leah Ingram
HomeAdvisor Cost Advisor

Leah Ingram is HomeAdvisor’s cost advisor, providing money saving tips for home improvement and home maintenance projects.  Leah is a freelance writer, lifestyle and frugal-living expert, and experienced speaker and spokesperson.

Leah has appeared on programs such as  “The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric,” “Good Morning America,” “Market Wrap,” and “Good Day New York” discussing family-related topics.

In addition to her experience on television, Leah  is a cultivated journalist and editor, who has worked for several publications including “Woman’s Day Special Interest Publications,” “Modern Bride” and “Street Scenes.”  Leah is also the author of 14 books, including Suddenly Frugal: How to Live Happier and Healthier for Less,” “Toss, Keep, Sell!: The Suddenly Frugal Guide to Cleaning Out the Clutter and Cashing in” and “Gifts Anytime: How to Find the Perfect Present for Any Occasion.” She has written articles for magazines such as “Good Housekeeping,” “All You,” and “Parents.” Leah also blogs for “Suddenly Frugal.”

Terrill is a seasoned Internet veteran with 16 years of experience working for top tier brands such as and Most recently, he spent six years with As Vice President of New Brands & Verticals of, Terrill launched new online brands, including Terrill also serves on the board of Neat, the leading manufacturer of “digital filing cabinet” equipment and software storage, and the National Kitchen and Bath Association.

Since joining HomeAdvisor in 2011, Terrill has spoken at various conferences and events including KBIS and BIA/Kelsey as an expert on topics such as brand positioning, concept development, organizational restructuring, and online and offline marketing.
